Born in Bari in 1967, he study piano with M° Hector Pell at the Bari’s Conservatorio where he obtain his Diploma with laude. He study composition with M° Ottavio De Lillo and he further improve his piano studies with Tito Aprea, Carla Giudici, Maria Golia, Alexander Lonquich and at the Accademia Chigiana di Siena, with Michele Campanella e Alexis Weissemberg.
Other formation courses are: Composition with Teresa Procaccini; Orchestra Conduction with Nicola Samale and a course at the CRM-Centro Ricerche Musicali di Roma on music’s informatics.

He is a winner at various piano competition among which
I Prize XV Rassegna Internazionale “F.Liszt” di Lucca
I Prize at Concorso Europeo di Ostuni.
I Prize at Concorso Nazionale Città di Sorrento
I Prize at Concorso Nazionale Città di Valentino

He composes several musical pieces like:
“DIVERTISSEMENTS”- five dances for piano performed at the IX Festival Internazionale di Bardolino.
“PIANO SUITE ” for Margherita Segardi’s poem composition “LE CASCATE”. “PRECES” three composition for choir and orchestra performed at the Basilica di San Nicola di Bari.
He recorded for RAI and RADIO VATICANA, for whom he was also invited to work on a series of transmission on the less know production of Franz Lizt

In May 1990 he receives at the Culture and the Arts Ministry in Rome the Diploma di Benemerenza Artistica from the International Centre C.I.A.S.- CLUB UNESCO.

SPECIALIZATION: dance accompaniment

Since several years he specialised in the piano accompaniment for ballet and contemporary dance

His knowledge on the diverse ballet methodics includes:(Vaganova, Cecchetti, Balanchine, Basarova-Mei, English) e contemporary styles: (Limon, Graham, Cunningham, Orton).

He has been invited from A.N.L.I.D.-ASSOCIAZIONE NAZIONALE LIBERI INSEGNANTI DI DANZA to teach Music applied to ballet for the preparation to the admission at the National Ballet Academy in Rome

In 1998 he has been invited by HUBBARD STREET DANCE COMPANY Chicago as a Maestro at the piano

L’ATERBALLETTO invited him as maestro at the Piano, for IX Corso di Formazione Professionale per Giovani Danzatori, in this occasion he plays also for Vittoria Ottolenghi and her “Performing Classes”

In September 2001 he was chosen as maestro at the Piano to accompany Vladimir Vasiliev’s Master Classes, in September 2002 he accompanied Elisabetta Terabust, and in September 2003 he accompanied Alessandro Molin’s Master Classes at Concorso Internazionale di Danza di Caltanissetta.

He is author to a various repertoire of music composition for ballet and contemporary dance recorded on CD and of a guide dedicated to the Theory and the Musical Forms applied to.

Since September 2002 he is the responsable for the Music Department at the ACCADEMIA INTERNAZIONALE COREUTICA – ENTE DI ALTO PERFEZIONAMENTO NELLE DISCIPLINE DELLA DANZA in Florence directed by Elisabetta Hertel where he is the appointed maestro at the Piano and he teaches Music applied to ballet and Music’s History.

In 1998 he was nominated President for the Regional Association PUGLIA DANZA- An Organisation for promoting and developing Dance a member of F.N.A.S.D. – FEDERAZIONE NAZIONALE DELLE ASSOCIAZIONI DELLE SCUOLE DI DANZA FEDERDANZA/A.G.I.S.

In 2002 he enter the scientific committee 2002 F.N.A.S.D. – FEDERAZIONE NAZIONALE DELLE ASSOCIAZIONI DELLE SCUOLE DI DANZA FEDERDANZA/A.G.I.S.’ s national magazine.
