Workshop/audition
A 4-day workshop, valid as audition for the school year 2024/2025, gives the participants an insight of the Academy, its teachers, the academy’s curriculum of studies. The perfect way to live a unique 4 days’ experience.

26 April at 9,30
• Visit to the Istituto SS. Annunziata Villa Poggio Imperiale
(State High School with a linguistic and scientific departments with adjoining boarding school for girls. For students not resident in Florence and province)
27 April Afternoon
Open day at Teatro l’Affratellamento Florence:
• Demonstration with the participants of the workshop/audition
• Demonstration with the students of the Accademia Internazionale Coreutica
• Meeting with teachers (Questions and Answers)
28 April Afternoon:
End of workshop and outcome of auditions

Academic year 2024/2025 for students aged 13 to 20

Collaborations with High Schools
The Accademia Internazionale Coreutica benefits from collaborations with:
Istituto SS.Annunziata Villa Poggio Imperiale: state high school with an adjoining girls’ boarding school.
The boarding school is aimed at students not resident in Florence and province and involves the compulsory attendance of the high school at the SS Annunziata Institute.
Calamandrei Institute: private high school: with Linguistic, Scientific, Human science and Computer science departments.
For residents in Florence and province or for non-residents, who wish to make use of other logistical accommodation in Florence, the choice of high school to attend is free.

FIVE-YEAR VOCATIONAL TRAINING COURSE IN CLASSICAL BALLET AND CONTEMPORARY DANCE
RECIPIENTS:
Students with a classical and/or contemporary dance background
Age: 13/19 years.
Course with a limited number of participants, daily compulsory attendance.
CONTENTS OF THE COURSE
- Classical ballet (including Pointe Technique, Male Technique, Pas de Deux, Solo Repertoire, Group Repertoire)
- Character Dance
- Contemporary Dance (including Technique, Improvisation, Composition and Choreographic Workshop)
- Body conditioning, Yoga, Pilates.
- Anatomy, History of Dance

MENTORING YEAR/A.I.C. PERFORMING PROJECT
RECIPIENTS:
For students in the last year of study or graduates and dancers looking for a first job.
Age 18/20 years.
Limited number of participants, daily compulsory attendance.
PROGRAM
- Classical Ballet
- Contemporary Dance
- Rehearsals and shows for A.I.C, Performing Project
- Body conditioning, Yoga, Pilates
- Preparation of Variation from the Classical Repertoire for auditions.
- Preparation of Solo of contemporary dance customized for auditions.
- Preparation of videos for auditions
- Photo book preparation for auditions
- Preparation of Curriculum Vitae for auditions
- Audition search

- Medical Certificate
- Bank transfer receipt for payment registration fee
- For audition candidates add: No. 2 Full length photos (Ist Position and in Arabesque, neutral background, dance attire, NO Stage costumes)
